can anyone tel me if glucose is ACTIVELY reabsorbed, PASSIVELY reabsorbed or BOTH? cam across in kaplan question, i thot it was jus secondary active transport mech, therfore active.. but it said BOTH! how is glucose trnsported passively? never read tht in theory.. any kind of inputs/ references welcome.

would love to see the question it self but its certainly not passive transport ( according to my knowledge )

I too vote for active only, for example Glucsoe -Sodium cotransport in PCT. Wiki does mention a facilitated diffusion.But for exam's sake just the active might be enough.

thanks melu, texasawee.. its been a while since i posted this, so i wudnt b abl to reproduce the exact question for Choice u .. n facilitated association with glucose, tht video guy did mention it.. if kapln is considerin tht then its a bit too much i think.. thanks for looking it up in wiki melu..
